Memorial Day thoughts...

Howdy Ho all ... sitting in the basement watching the Stanley Cup Finals and just relaxing. Had a great weekend. Played golf twice - did a bunch of projects around the house. Including finally getting around to loading all our music onto ITunes. That was insane... over 6,000 songs now loaded up.

Anyway, have heard many folks speak about Memorial Day and the things and people we should be thankful for. I am sure that Saving Private Ryan is on someone where right now and I have to tell you, if you watch the first 45 minutes of that movie and it's impossible not to think about the sacrifice those men made for our country and for us.

Whether you believe in Iraq or not, the bottom line is that our men and women are doing great work on behalf of all of us. So for those of you who travel, when you see one of them, say thanks. If you are sitting in first class, give them your seat. Don't ask - just do it. Just remember, they sit in a seat you would most likely never, ever, ever want to sit in.

Have a great week. Abbie's birthday party is Wednesday at 11 a.m. at a bowling alley in Atlanta. This should be a trip. Can't believe she is five and her sister will be two. Time flies when you are having fun.
